Inquiry - smoothie marketing day

All Inquiry groups marketed and sold their yummy healthy smoothies for smoothie dollars.  Each person had a turn at being the smoothie shop keeper and two turns at being the purchaser.

The groups which made the most money - 
1st - Patrick, Adam, Blake       $64.50        (lemon yogurt, banana, strawberry, milk)
2nd - Jacana, Cerys, Erika        $53.00        (banana, blueberries, milk)
3rd - Chloe, Emma, Jahdae       $45.00        (banana, berries, vanilla bean yoghurt, milk)

Then groups then ranged from $44 down to $20.00.  The children learnt that the dearer smoothie shops did not necessarily make the most money - as the shoppers looked around for a bargain.  In addition to this, the children learnt that if you don't fill the glasses up (just putting a little bit in the bottom) then the shoppers went to a different stall to get more smoothie for the same price.
